About me
There’s beauty in every material, it’s just a matter of finding and utilizing it
Larissa de Klerk is a costume/prop designer and illustrator based in the Netherlands. Their work is mostly based around everyday materials, to show how you don’t need expensive things to make something amazing.
The process from flat design to a full-on costume is a creative journey, having to make choices and experiments to get the outcome you desire is even better when you can transform “useless” materials that are usually not even considered. It’s ever changing, never the same so every project gives different problems and opportunities.
So, next time you want to throw out your old shoeboxes, first think of all the potential they possess, and let yourself get amazed.
